We are seeking a strong Administrative Assistant/Client Service Associate who enjoys learning and taking on new challenges. This person will provide support by completing operational and administrative tasks including heavy calendar management, scheduling appointments, managing and tracking insurance premiums and payments, compiling investment management paperwork and assisting clients. The candidate should be detail-oriented and extremely organized.
This individual will also contribute to the efficiency of the operation by performing other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- The right candidate will have a strong work ethic and be very detail oriented.
- Willing to take initiative, have excellent computer skills and knowledge.
- Work effectively independently but value the importance of being part of a team.
- Ability to handle confidential data discretely.
- Possess effective organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Handle meeting preparation and follow up on action items with ease.
- Must be able to prioritize and handle a heavy workload.
- Brokerage or other related financial services experience is preferred.
- College degree preferred.
Securities and brokerage experience would be extremely beneficial to this position. Requirements include proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Based in Reston, Virginia, we are a financial planning and investment advisory firm serving high net worth and Fortune 500 corporate sponsored financial planning clients, as well as foundations, endowments, and institutional clients nationwide.
We are seeking experienced professionals to prepare and review individual and trust returns for high net-worth individuals. Qualified professionals should have at least 2 years of experience preparing or reviewing individual tax returns. These opportunities would be perfect for “retired” tax preparers, stay-at-home parents, or anyone interested in working in a professional environment for a few months each year. Candidates should be detail-oriented, possess strong organizational and communication skills, and be capable of working in a paperless environment. CPA’s, attorneys, and Enrolled Agents are preferred. Prior experience with CCH Axcess or ProSystem fx is a plus.
Current opportunities include part-time (minimum: 25 hours per week) to full-time positions from early February – mid April each year. Compensation is based on experience. Additional time for training will be compensated.

The Tax Processor is responsible for processing tax data received from clients and third parties, mailing and tracking client correspondence, and processing completed tax returns. The Tax Processor must possess strong communication and organizational skills, be able to manage multiple tasks subject to strict deadlines, be detail oriented, and have good computer skills. Experience with Adobe Acrobat preferred. The Tax Processor position will be from mid-January 2023 through April 17, 2023. The position requires a minimum of 40 hours per week. Compensation is based on experience. Additional time for training will be compensated.
