We are seeking a talented RFP Writer/Marketing Coordinator to join our growing team. This position reports directly to the Chief Marketing and Development Officer.
Job Description:
The RFP Writer/Marketing Coordinator will be tasked with all areas of managing, maintaining and completing institutional proposal requests. The RFP Writer/Marketing Coordinator will work with the institutional, financial planning and private client investment management teams to modify and create marketing materials to both support Mason’s work with existing clients and to foster new client development. For the institutional practice, the RFP Writer/Marketing Coordinator will draft RFP submissions and maintain a database of all RFP responses. The RFP Writer/Marketing Coordinator will also draft PowerPoint presentations and will work within Mason’s team to ensure consistency of brand and messaging. Additional responsibilities will include management of Mason’s press release process.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Manage entire institutional RFP response process
- Create and draft new marketing materials and update previously written materials
- Oversee coordination and communication of all firm wide marketing materials and literature
- Create and draft new PowerPoint presentations and update previously created materials and maintain brand standards across the firm
- Draft press releases
- Create content for and manage email blast process
- Coordinate with the Director of Research on all white papers for consistency of content, format and versions
- Maintain website content
Qualifications (necessary skills and experience required)
- BS in Finance and or Marketing
- Demonstrated institutional investment RFP writing experience
- Excellent writing skills
- 5-10 years of investment industry experience
- Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher
- Graphic design and website design experience

Position Overview
The Information Technology Associate will be responsible to aid in the evaluation, implementation and maintenance of new technology and software at The Mason Companies. In addition, this position will also aid our Information Technology (IT) department by providing day-to-day quality customer support services for staff and employee operations.
This position will work closely with The Mason Companies IT department, with our local and regional employees, and will report to the Chief Technology Officer.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the project management of new technology and software at the Mason Companies.
- Assist in gathering and documenting of project requirements.
- Assist in vendor analysis.
- Assist in keeping projects on track and on time, and making sure deliverables are met.
- Assist in testing new technology to determine effectiveness and need.
- Assist in policy and procedure development, documentation and implementation.
- Assist in training and rollout of new technology and software.
- Assist in the administration of new technology and software.
- Provide Technical Support to staff and employees, customer(s) when necessary as first point of contact.
- Assist with troubleshooting of computer related issues such as password resets, email setup and issues, software installs, printer, etc.

Position Overview
The Reporting Analyst will work in a team, and be responsible for helping maintain all data downloads, manual reconciliation and will help in the production of timely and accurate performance reports to all Mason clients. The Reporting Analyst will also troubleshoot questions related to the performance aggregation and reporting system, performance reports, in addition to supporting other departments that use the data from the performance reporting system.
This position will work closely with The Mason Companies local and regional employees and will report to the Managing Director of Information Technology and Systems.
Responsibilities
- Aid in maintaining the day-to-day reconciliation of accounts in our portfolio aggregation system.
- Aid in the production of accurate and timely monthly and quarterly performance reports for all Mason clients.
- Able to problem solve Advisor and Consultant questions and provide accurate and succinct responses.
- Able to handle multiple requests at once, and still provide accurate and timely responses/deliverables.
- Show initiative in working to automate processes, analyses, and other reporting functions that are currently done manually and/or through customization.
